Steps to Configure Devices for the Trazet Platform

Devices from KloudIP or Trazet Partners

If your device was provided by KloudIP or an official Trazet partner, it comes pre-configured for the Trazet platform.

To get started:

  • Insert a working SIM card with data enabled
  • Power on the device
  • Connect external power (if required)

No manual configuration is needed.

Using Your Own Device? Follow the Steps Below:

  1. Refer to Manufacturer Guidelines
    Review the official configuration manual from your device manufacturer to ensure the correct communication settings and supported protocols are used.

  2. Set Protocol and Server Details
    Configure the device with the appropriate protocol (e.g., TCP or UDP), and input the Trazet platform server IP address and port as specified for your device model.

  3. Enable Required Parameters
    Make sure critical reporting parameters—such as GPS location, ignition status, mileage, and sensor data—are enabled and set to report at suitable intervals.

  4. Insert SIM and Power On
    Insert a valid SIM card with an active data plan. Turn on the device and confirm it has a GPS and GSM signal lock ( refer manufacture's manual to find out more about verifying connectivity)

  5. Verify Connection on Trazet Platform
    Log in to the Trazet platform to confirm the device is connected and data is being received as expected.📄 How to Add New Device

  6. Troubleshoot if Needed
    If your device is not reporting correctly or isn’t visible on the platform, refer to the [Troubleshooting Guide] or review the device logs for errors.
